On Friday, colleagues from across the business came together at Stoke City Football Club to celebrate the career of Peter Glover, who officially retires after 30 years with the company, the last nine of those as Managing Director. It was a chance to share stories, reflect on the journey so far and say goodbye for now, before Peter heads off to Australia to enjoy the Ashes. We wish him every happiness in this next chapter and thank him for the lasting impact he has made on Motus Vehicle Solutions and the wider Motus Group UK.
As Peter steps back, Dean Miller takes the helm as Managing Director of Motus Vehicle Solutions, bringing with him 25 years of experience in the commercial vehicle sector.
Speaking about his appointment, Dean said:
“When Peter Glover first spoke to me about the role as his possible replacement, I was extremely interested, not least because of the diversity of business activities in the group. It was a brilliant opportunity, and I was only too happy to join the list of other interested parties and go through the full and challenging interview process. Having been successful, it’s great to be working with old and new colleagues who share the same appetite to grow the division.”
Dean also highlighted the strong foundations already in place across the group and the opportunity to build on that success through continued organic growth.
“Helping that will be a planned closer relationship with other Motus Group UK businesses. For instance, in Motus Commercials, we have a ‘sister company’ that is the biggest DAF dealer group in the UK, and there are similar opportunities with the fast-growing LCV operations of the Pentagon Motor Group – another part of Motus Group (UK).”
Looking ahead to 2026 and beyond, Dean’s focus is on building momentum, strengthening collaboration across the wider group and continuing to support each business to grow in a sustainable and customer-focused way.
With strong teams, established brands and clear opportunities ahead, Motus Vehicle Solutions is well placed to continue moving forward with confidence.
